Sassafras All Children’s Playground, in partnership with the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and the Frankie Lemmon Foundation, is the restoration of the city’s one-of-a-kind playground that gives children, no matter what their abilities, the chance to play, imagine and soar.
Join us as we team up to build a new playground at Laurel Hills Park located at 3808 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh, NC. We are seeking volunteers who do not have to be skilled, trained or have any special tools; they just have to be enthusiastic, energetic, a team player, willing to work, and have fun, fun, fun! (And at least 18 years of age).
