PlayHouse Parade
The Playhouse Parade is collaboration between Cameron Village, area builders, designers, architects, businesses and individuals to support the fundraising efforts for the Sassafras All Children’s playground. Twelve outdoor structures including a pirate ship, potting shed, castle, firehouse, green house and tee pee will be sold during auction this one of a kind event. Download Playhouse Parade Flier

Whole Foods Donates 5% of sales on July 5, 2011
Shop Whole Foods Market- North Raleigh on Tuesday, July 5th and support Sassafras!
On July 5th, Whole Foods Market – North Raleigh is donating 5% of their TOTAL sales to the Sassafras All Children’s Playground project. Whole Foods is open every day from 7am-10pm. The store features 40,000 green-minded square feet of natural and organic foods, three food bars, house-made specialities, gelato, a floral and garden center, and a wide selection of wine and beer.

Garage Brothers Charity Sale, Saturday, July 9th
This charity sale is your chance to get some of the best thrift store finds in the area! The sale is hosted by Garage Brothers, a company that prioritizes recycling and minimizing waste by cleaning out what people are no longer using from their garages and attics and selling the items in their thrift stores. Each month, Garage Brothers choose a local charity to support. Garage Brothers will donate 25% of all sales on July 9 to Sassafras.

Sandbox Benefit Concert, Sunday March 20th
March 20th from 3-4:30 at the Laurel Hills Community Center [map]
Bring the family out to an afternoon of singing and dancing with the Sandbox Band. Jeff, Ed, Frank, Chris and Pat are coming out to Laurel Hills Community Center to do a benefit concert for the Sassafras All Children’s Playground. Come out and hear this talented group of guys perform their kids and family fun music!
Tickets on sale at the door for $5.00 per person (2 and under free)
